Clergy On Call
Let’s face it—many people today are tired and burnt out by religion and the church. So, we operate as a clergy on wheels that supports you as an individual or couple of family groups through all seasons of life in your home, hospital or nursing home. Some people have no family close by to visit them and feel alone.
 We are committed to consistently providing compassionate care and support for you, regardless of who you are or what you are going through. Whether you are a part of a church or not, all our conversations are confidential between you and our clergy. Over the last ten years, we have supported many Pastors and churches. As they seek to be revitalised. We have found that there also is just as much of a need for many sick, hurt, dying local congregations to be supported for a plethora of reasons. But at the core, often we have found it’s because they haven’t tasted Grace, and religion has choked the life out of them, which has seen many hurt people leave and become totally disconnected from life.
So, our role is to minister with love and grace, journeying with people and church communities where they are. We wholly and solely run by faith, thanks to the generous support of our donors and ministry supporters. Â We have a significant role in people’s lives and are privileged to step into a very sacred space as they are raw and overwhelmed with life and grief; we come and conduct funerals through our Arrow & Knot Ceremonies for the hurting and the broken, as often when people lose someone they feel like they have had an Arrow to the heart shattering it in a thousand pieces.
The Knot symbolises the arms of Jesus that we seek to be to them as we provide pastoral care, counselling, and other different support services at home hospitals or nursing homes through in-person visitation and phone support. Our phones are answered 24/7, and you will always get a person on the end of the phone. The reality is that the times we live in are challenging, and there are times we want to talk to someone outside of those we know. Â
Clergy on Call believes in a simple, uncluttered faith and has been developed to bridge the gap and assist individuals, couples, families, pastors, chaplains, churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and many other contexts in the different seasons of life. All our clergy are Bible College trained and our ministry team is Police-Checked, and hold valid Working with Children Checks, and are ordained and registered with The Southern Cross Association of Churches we are in fellowship with them alliging with their mission, vision and values and statement of faith.

- Mentoring Online and in Person – Chaplains/ Pastors
- Advocacy & Social Support
- Pastoral Care & Support Services (Counselling, Premarriage Counselling, Funerals, Weddings and other needs on an as-needed basis)
- Visitation Hospital/ Home/ Nursing Home (on call to hospital intensive care units where families request clergy to attend, and they don’t have one of their own)
- Refer to other supports and services (i.e., Professional Supervision for Pastors & Chaplains)
